The first point discussed by BTS in their speech at the United Nations General Assembly was about the Covid-19 pandemic from the perspective of young people. Jin BTS revealed that as a young generation, he also felt anxiety during this pandemic.
"During the past two years, I have also felt confusion and various other problems. However, as a young generation, we must be enthusiastic about life and make the most of the moment," he said.
Meanwhile, RM BTS mentioned that instead of calling the current young generation a lost generation, he agreed to call it a saved generation.
"We will become a generation that can embrace change," RM said.

Meanwhile, Jimin BTS highlights how the younger generation must be more prepared to face various new challenges. Reflecting on the ongoing pandemic, Jimin believes that such unfortunate events could happen again in the future, hence the need for anticipation.
"As time goes by, new challenges will always be present. When that happens, we cannot just stay silent, let alone blame others. Remember, the world can change in an instant," expressed Jimin.

"Climate change is an important issue, but finding the best solution is not easy. Don't stop doing your best for this planet," stated J-Hope.
J-Hope also urges the younger generation not to be afraid of vaccines, as BTS themselves have received the Covid-19 vaccine before coming to New York, USA.
