The news was shared through her personal Instagram account on Thursday (08/05/2025). This makes her the second AOA member after Yuna to announce her wedding plans.
Friends, fans, and netizens who heard about Dohwa's wedding were also happy to see her ready to leave single life at the age of 28 with her partner. Celebrities like Sei WekiMeki, Yeoreum WJSN, JooE MOMOLAND, and others were seen congratulating her in the comments section of her latest post. However, the identity of the star's fiancé is still kept secret from the public eye.
"Hello, this is Dohwa. I have news that I want to share with all of you who have seen and supported me until now. I have met someone I want to spend my future with, and next June, I will get married (to him)." Dohwa wrote in her caption.

Dohwa shared a pre-wedding photo to greet and convey a touching message regarding her marriage. In the post, she appears wearing a simple yet elegant white dress adorned with beads and beautiful pearl earrings. Her hair is styled in a low bun in a 'messy bun' fashion.
Meanwhile, her fiancé is seen wearing a suit and white pants, facing away from the camera. The two look harmonious holding a bouquet of white roses tied together with a ribbon, as if Dohwa is about to receive the flowers from her partner's hands.
