Drakor DOTS Will Be Remade into an Indonesian Film! Take a Look at the First Meeting Portraits - Will Collaborate with Syifa Hadju and Brian Domani?

Drama Kore DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN, or commonly known as DOTS, is planned to be remade into an Indonesian film. This news has been circulating on social media after Indonesian producer Hanung Bramantyo and Korean Production House CEO Seo Woo Sik announced this collaboration on social media.

The producer, who was also involved in the film Miracle in Cell no.7, was seen presenting with the faces of the cast. Syifa Hadju and Bryan Domani's names were mentioned as the cast for the Indonesian remake version of DOTS, as they appeared in the presentation.

The news of the making of the DOTS drama remake is buzzing after Barunson C&C production house CEO, Seo Woo Sik, shared a photo of Korean and Indonesian producers having a meeting together.

"The drama Descendants of the Sun is currently being made into a film in Indonesia. We are collaborating with Indonesian box office director @hanungbramantyo and @azlinabdlatif K studioCH. Fighting everyone," he said.

This news was confirmed through the Instagram post of Indonesian producer, Hanung Bramantyo. He uploaded a number of photos from the first meeting moment.

The first meeting also served as the official permission for the remake of the DOTS drama to become a film in Indonesia. Producer Hanung and CEO Se Woo Sik, along with other crew members, were seen signing the production agreement.

"Today, the office @dapurfilm received a visit from the CEO of Barunson C&C, (the production house behind the film Parasite) Mr. @seo_woo_sik to sign a production agreement for the remake of the series Descendants of the Sun into a feature film with the support of K-Studio by @azlinabdlatif. It's a new challenge for me, adapting a famous series into a feature film. Bismillah, hopefully it won't disappoint," said Hanung.

In relation to this meeting, the names Bryan Domani and Syifa Hadju have also been mentioned. Both are rumored to play Captain Yoo Shi Jin and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon.

Because, one of the producers in the making of the remake, Azlin Abdul Latif, posted a photo with Syifa and Bryan who also attended the first meeting.

However, Hanung explained that the production team has not determined which roles the two artists will play. There are several other artists' faces that also appear in the presentation poster of the meeting.
