Eunha GFRIEND Suffers Corneal Inflammation, Takes a 3-Day Break from Promotional Activities - Previously Used an Eye Patch

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, GFRIEND made their comeback with the title track MAGO, a retro and disco-inspired song about girls who don't care about other people's judgments. Amidst this comeback period for GFRIEND, there is unfortunate news regarding one of their members, Eunha.

Eunha suffered from corneal inflammation just before their comeback with their third album titled 回: Walpurgis Night. During the press conference and showcase, Eunha appeared with a patch on her right eye.

1. Absent for 3 Days

Eunha's health condition cannot be recovered instantly. Therefore, GFRIEND's agency Source Music explained that Eunha will take a total rest for a while through an official statement released last Tuesday (10/11).

"Eunha felt sick while preparing for the showcase on Monday, November 9th, and after completing her schedule, she went to the hospital for an examination. After that, she was diagnosed with keratitis. Following the doctor's advice, she will focus on recovery for 3 days starting from today by getting enough rest to prevent her condition from worsening," stated Source Music, as reported by Allkpop.

"To expedite Eunha's recovery, GFRIEND's schedule will be carried out by the other 5 members except for Eunha for 3 days, and we will decide her participation in the schedule after she receives treatment again," they added.

2. Wearing Eye Cover

On Monday (9/11), two hours before their comeback, GFRIEND held a showcase to promote their album. When Eunha appeared wearing an eye cover, fans who saw her photos online started expressing their concerns for their idol.

During the event, the host Jaejae commented that it seemed like Eunha had a stye. However, Eunha explained that she wore the eye cover because her eye was injured.
