Can you introduce yourself and say hello to our viewers in Indonesia?

SHAUN: Hi guys, my name is Shaun from South Korea. I am a singer and composer of the song 'Way Back Home'. Yeah, nice to meet you all!

Okay, I have a few questions for you. The first question is, how's your mood today? Can you explain it?

SHAUN: First of all, it’s really hot today. I’m feeling a bit sleepy in this hot weather.

Next question, I’m curious, what did you eat last? What food did you just eat?

SHAUN: I didn’t eat anything. Oh! Chungmu Kimbap.

Sounds delicious!

SHAUN: How do I explain it in English? There’s a food called Kimbap, which is like a sushi roll. Then there’s Kimbap called Chungmu Kimbap, which is the mini version of Kimbap. Ehm...Ahhh...Hmmm... (Shaun is silent for a long time) I don't know.

SHAUN: She's only 7 years old! Hahahaha!

How long do you spend on your phone in a day?

SHAUN: I don’t use my phone that often. But if I don’t have my phone, I feel anxious. If I don’t have my wallet, I can pay with my phone. Just ready in case of an emergency.

So you don’t watch series on your phone?

SHAUN: You mean Netflix?

Yeah, including Netflix. Streaming like that.

SHAUN: Oh, streaming. I just turn it on and listen. I don't really watch it. But I don't have time for that. I just turn it on while playing games or doing other things. You could say I don't often watch on my phone. In the first half of this year, there weren't many new series from my favorite animators. But in the second half, there will be many new series coming out. So I'm really looking forward to it.

What do you think is the best animation of all time?

SHAUN: Ah... that's the hardest question of all time. If I had to choose one animation... Dojo's Bizarre Adventure. Do you know the anime?

It's really good. Now let's go back to school days.

SHAUN: That was a long time ago, btw.

What kind of student were you in school? Were you a naughty student or an achiever?

SHAUN: I've liked music since I was little. You could say I was a quiet student. But when I played an instrument, I showed an interesting side of myself. I tried to focus on that during school. I didn't show off my skills. I wasn't an active and energetic kid. Yeah, I was a quiet student.

Since you were more focused on music during school, do you have any unforgettable memories? What fun things did you do?

SHAUN: Once, I went to a playground in Hongdae with a friend. In Hongdae, I played guitar and he held a djembe. We were busking there and people joined in singing. Then someone came and asked if he could play drums with us. We said okay and the drummer came. Then another person asked if he could play bass. He came with a bass and played along. There was also someone who asked if he could join in as a DJ. He came and played DJ. There was also someone who came wanting to rap, so he rapped. So we played together and performed every Saturday. We got to know each other on the street. That was an event when I was still 18 years old, in my second year of high school. It's been a long time, I just remembered that memory. I forgot because it's been so long. The people I just met, the musicians I met for the first time, the talented people I met for the first time. We played music together and had fun. We often drank... Oh no, just kidding. We had fun together. It reminded me of the past.

SHAUN: Back then my hair was long, shoulder-length. I used to go to an arts high school. So my appearance was like a hippie. Hehe.

Still in your childhood memories, do you have any childhood dreams that have come true now?

SHAUN: Since I was little, I always wanted to be a musician who keeps existing. When I see myself, I feel amazing that I can play music for a very long time. Sometimes I’m surprised at how I could achieve that goal.

Close your eyes. Imagine meeting yourself when you were 7 years old. What would you say to him?

SHAUN: Don’t be aware of where you come from. Hahahahahahaha! Just kidding.
