The latest one is YOUNG LADY AND GENTLEMAN. Despite receiving some criticism, this drama about the love story of a widowed father with 3 children and a young woman actually receives high ratings!
YOUNG LADY AND GENTLEMAN tells the story of Lee Young Kook, a widowed father of three who cannot forget his late wife. He then hires a kind and enthusiastic woman, Park Dandan, to take care of and tutor his three children. As expected, they eventually fall in love with each other.
Park Dandan is played by Lee Se Hee, who previously played Kang So Ye in HOSPITAL PLAYLIST 2. To get the role of Park Dandan, Lee Se Hee had to beat 500 actresses who auditioned.
Meanwhile, Lee Young Kook, a rich 40-year-old widower, is played by Ji Hyun Woo, who has often appeared in weekend dramas.
In the early episodes, this drama attracted attention. Because there was a 'date' scene between the teenage version of Park Dandan played by Kim Min Seo and young Lee Young Kook, when they first met. Many felt uncomfortable with their scenes of riding bicycles and playing together.
