Feeling Unwell - Previously in Contact with Patients, Yoo In Na and Ahn Bo Hyun Test Negative for COVID-19

Kapanlagi.com - The pandemic is still ongoing in various countries around the world, including South Korea. With the resurgence of COVID-19 in Seoul, many drama productions have been postponed due to actors and staff testing positive for the coronavirus or having contact with patients.

Therefore, a series of actors and actresses involved in drama and film projects have undergone tests to ensure their health condition. Including Yoo In Na and Ahn Bo Hyun, whose tests have shown negative results.

1. Not Feeling Well

On December 1st, Yoo In Na was absent from the virtual press conference for her latest film NEW YEAR BLUES. A representative from YG Entertainment agency stated that the actress was absent from promotional activities due to feeling unwell and resting. On the same day, the agency also announced that Yoo In Na tested negative for COVID-19.

"Yoo In Na has been feeling unwell since yesterday, so she decided not to participate in the scheduled NEW YEAR BLUES press conference. To be prepared for all possibilities, she underwent a COVID-19 test," the agency spokesperson revealed.

"Yoo In Na is experiencing mild fever, so she is resting at home and not participating in any promotions for the time being. As a precautionary measure, she underwent a COVID-19 test and did not participate in today's press conference," they added.

2. Shooting Postponed

Meanwhile, Ahn Bo Hyun's new drama titled UNDERCOVER (temporary title) has decided to temporarily halt the shooting process as a precautionary measure due to one of its staff members' travel route coinciding with the travel route of a confirmed COVID-19 patient. They have also requested all cast and crew members to self-quarantine at home temporarily until the test results are out.

"We have stopped shooting on December 1st, and all the cast, crew, along with the [cast's] manager, will be tested for COVID-19," said the producer of UNDERCOVER.

3. Contacted Before

Ahn Bo Hyun's agency, FN Entertainment, also revealed that the actor in question has been tested for COVID-19 for reasons unrelated to UNDERCOVER. It turns out that the actor had contact with a production staff member who tested positive for COVID-19.

"[Ahn Bo Hyun] underwent testing after finding out that he had contact with a staff member confirmed with COVID-19 while working on a different production other than UNDERCOVER. The test results came back negative," said a representative from the agency.
