Before deciding to go to South Korea, Felix lived in Australia with his parents, older sister, and younger sister. While in Sydney, he attended a private school called St. Patrick's Marist College.

Story about Felix STRAY KIDS' aspirations, he revealed them himself during a photoshoot with GQ Korea magazine. Sometimes, K-Pop idols do photoshoots and solo interviews with famous magazines. Felix also did the same and appeared in the August 2021 edition of GQ Korea.

In the interview, Felix talked about the path he took to go from Australia and debut as a K-Pop idol, even though being an idol is not his only aspiration. It turns out, Felix also wants to become a police officer or a carpenter if he didn't become a member of a K-Pop group like now.

"I have a vague desire to become a police officer," Felix said. "Or a job that involves working with wood, like carpentry. I'm interested in things I can do with my hands," Felix continued.

During an interview on the Australian TV program 'SUNDAY NIGHT', Felix talked about his journey to become an idol. When asked why he didn't take a different path and seize opportunities in the K-Pop industry, he replied that this adventure was actually very new to him.

"This is an adventure and it's very new. I have learned many new things, including language, culture, and food," Felix answered.

The adventure path chosen by Felix was not an easy one. He admitted to facing difficulties during his trainee days. However, he and the other members have now become a group and share that story with the STAYs. Additionally, Felix is confident that the members can continue to help each other. Being in a group, Felix has also learned a lot, even about himself.

"Since being in the group, I have learned more about who I really am." Together with Stray Kids has made me feel more confident and be myself," said Felix.

Felix STRAY KIDS himself joined JYP Entertainment in 2017 through an online audition message. After undergoing one year of training, Felix participated in the survival show 'STRAY KIDS' formed by JYP Entertainment. Felix was eventually eliminated from the program because JYP stated that the group would only consist of seven members.

However, JYP gave Felix and Lee Know STRAY KIDS another chance in the final mission to prove their abilities and talents. CEO JYP, Park Jin Young, gave them this opportunity because he knew that they continued to practice hard every day, even after being eliminated.

"I heard that after you were eliminated, the two of you continued to work hard and practice diligently every day. I have thought about many things, and after you left (eliminated), it felt like something was missing from the group," said Park Jin Young at that time, as reported by Soompi.

Through that path, they finally debuted together with STRAY KIDS in 2018. Along with eight other members, Felix released a pre-debut mini album titled 'Mixtape' and on March 25, 2018, released the mini album 'I Am Not' as their official debut.

Until now, Felix has been shining under the umbrella of JYP Entertainment. In August 2021, STRAY KIDS released a new single and MV titled 'Thunderous' as a comeback sign.
