Not Worth Imitating! These Korean Celebrities Have Been Caught Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Kangin is one of South Korea's famous singers who is also a former member of the boy group Super Junior. Throughout his career, Kangin has been quite controversial due to frequently getting involved with authorities because of the issues he caused.

One of the problems he faced was regarding an accident while driving. He ended up crashing into a traffic light on the highway. Eventually, the police released a report regarding the urine test undergone by Kangin. The result stated that Kangin's blood alcohol level was 0.05%, a figure sufficient to have his driving license suspended.

2. Park Si Yeon

Beautiful actress Park Si Yeon also experienced a similar problem as Kang In. The driver's accident incident occurred on January 17, 2021. After the incident, the agency representing Park Si Yeon, Mystic Story, immediately apologized to the public and confirmed the news.

Park Si Yeon collided with the rear bumper of another car at an intersection in Seoul, South Korea. It was reported that Park Si Yeon's blood alcohol level was 0.097%. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities involving Park Si Yeon or the other driver who was hit.

3. Son Seung Won

Handsome South Korean actor Son Seung Won has also experienced the same problem, which is driving under the influence of alcohol. Son Seung Won is a famous South Korean actor who started his career through musical dramas in 2009.

The traffic accident occurred in December 2018. Unfortunately, Son Seung Won chose not to take responsibility and instead tried to flee. However, his attempt failed due to the many eyewitnesses at the scene. To make matters worse, it was reported that Son Seung Won did not have a valid license and his blood alcohol level reached 0.206%.

4. Gill ex Leessang

The next Korean celebrity who also stumbled upon problems with alcohol and traffic accidents is Gill, formerly of Leessang. Gill is a rapper and lead singer of the duo Leessang. Gill is known to be one of the controversial celebrities. He is often accused of causing many problems such as assault and harassment of other celebrities.

In 2014, Gill was investigated by the police for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was caught in the Hapjeong area. After the investigation, it was found that the alcohol level in his body was about 0.109% and he had to surrender his driver's license. The problem repeated in 2017 in a different location. According to the examination, the alcohol level in the rapper's blood reached 0.16%.

5. Lizzy

The next celebrity who was involved in a traffic violation case due to the influence of alcohol is Lizzy from After School. In fact, she was eventually sentenced to one year in prison for her negligence. What's worse is that Lizzy caused an accident with her actions.

Lizzy crashed into a taxi on the road where the incident occurred. When tested, the results showed that her blood alcohol level was 0.8%. With that level, it is enough to have her driving license revoked. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities from the accident.
