The director of BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY hopes that this documentary film can provide inspiration.
Kapanlagi.com - The behind-the-scenes life of BLACKPINK can soon be seen in the Netflix documentary, BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY. Here we can see Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa in the recording studio and their other sides as K-Pop idols.
BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKYÂ is directed by Caroline Suh. In an interview with KapanLagi.com, she talked about the process of making the documentary and her impressions of the BLACKPINK members. Of course, there were challenges that Caroline had to face in the making of this film.
"We really wanted to tell this documentary in a real way, about their lives. Choosing scenes that show their lives, that's what's very important about what we do," said Caroline.
Â
BLACKPINK is not only one of the most popular Korean celebrities today, they are also figures that inspire many people. Even director Caroline Suh herself admitted to being amazed after learning some facts about Rose and the others.
"When I found out that they started training at such a young age and for years without knowing when and if they would debut, I found it so intriguing. (They) kept believing even in uncertain situations," said Caroline.

Certainly, during the making of BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY, Caroline Suh also had the opportunity to meet all four of them. So what was her first impression when finally meeting Lisa and the others face to face?
"I met them before filming and also met Teddy Park. They were very friendly, fun, and sweet. And after meeting the members, I realized that they are indeed like that, so hardworking, and have good stamina," she said.
Wow, who wants to meet BLACKPINK too? Well, for now, let's meet them in BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY which will be available on Netflix starting October 14th!
