1. Naeun APRIL

This former idol and actress was involved in a bullying scandal against her groupmate Hyunjoo in 2021. It was revealed to the public by someone claiming to be Hyunjoo's sibling, who disclosed that her sister had been bullied by the April members.

Not only Naeun, but also her fellow group members were involved in this incident. This caused Hyunjoo to leave the group and now April has no chance to continue their career.

2. Kangin SUPER JUNIOR

Kim Young Woon, or better known as Kangin, is a member of the boy group Super Junior. Born on January 17, 1985, he has been involved in several scandals since 2009.

Four years after his debut, Kangin was involved in a fight at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul. Shortly after that, he got in trouble with the law again for drunk driving and hitting a taxi. He was fined 8 million won and although he still remained a member of Super Junior, he never participated in any group activities again.

3. Seungri BIGBANG

Former member of the boy group Bigbang, Seungri, was involved in one of the scandals that caused a stir in the public. This scandal, called Burning Sun, is the biggest criminal case in the history of K-Pop.

In 2019, Seungri was accused of fraud, illegal gambling, and prostitution in his club called Burning Sun. After being investigated by the police, it turned out to be true and Seungri was sentenced to three years in prison.

4. Jung Ilhoon BTOB

Last year in 2020, former member of the boy group BTOB, Jung Ilhoon, was involved in a drug scandal. It was revealed to the public that he bought marijuana with virtual money to avoid tracking. He is now serving a two-year prison sentence and a fine of 133 million won or around Rp 1.69 billion.

Ilhoon started using marijuana 5-6 years ago with his friends. One of the Korean media outlets, Dispatch, revealed that Ilhoon exchanged cash for bitcoin to buy marijuana and he was tested positive for drug use after a hair test.

5. Jimin AOA

Jimin is a former member of the girl group AOA, who stumbled upon a bullying scandal in 2020. It was revealed to the media that she had been bullying her groupmate Mina.

She had been doing it for 10 years since joining AOA. Mina revealed that she had almost attempted suicide due to Jimin's mistreatment. Finally, on July 5, 2020, Jimin decided to leave the group and quit being an idol.
