PURPLE KISS was formed by RBW Entertainment in 2020 and just debuted as a girl band on March 15, 2021, with the release of a mini album titled INTO VIOLET. Previously, the group had released two pre-debut singles, My Heart Skip a Beat in November 2020 and Can We Talk Again in February 2021. Prior to their debut, RBW had introduced the members through the 365 Practice project on their official YouTube channel, where they often uploaded dance and sing covers.

This group consists of 7 members, namely Park Jieun, Na Goeun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan, some of whom are former trainees of major agencies like YG and JYP. PURPLE KISS is often considered a self-producing group as the members are actively involved in songwriting, choreography, and other aspects of their shows. Park Ji Eun is the oldest member of the group, born on September 4, 1997. She holds the position of vocalist and visual in the group. Ji Eun once participated in the survival program PRODUCE 48 and only ranked 80th.

Na Goeun, born on September 3, 1999, holds the position of main vocalist and lead dancer in the group. Like Ji Eun, she is also a former trainee of PRODUCE 48 and ranked 29th.

Born with the name Jang Eunseong, but known as Dosie, was born on February 11, 2000 and occupies the position as a vocalist. He was the first member to join RBW Ent. in 2016.

Cho Seo Young, or commonly known as Ireh, was born on April 30, 2002. Her position in the group is as the main dancer and vocalist. She joined RBW in February 2020, previously she was a trainee at YG Entertainment.

Yuki is a former trainee of JYP Ent. and one of the Japanese-born members born on November 6, 2002. She is responsible as the main rapper, lead dancer, and vocalist in the group. Yuki wrote her own rap part in both pre-debut singles of PURPLE KISS.

Chaein is a former trainee of YG Ent. who was born on December 5, 2002. In this group, she is the lead vocalist and lead dancer. She has participated in the program KPOP STAR season 1 and 3, where Chaeryeong ITZY is one of her close friends in the show.

Park Sujin, commonly known as Swan, is the youngest member of the group who was born on July 11, 2003, as the main vocalist. Swan has participated in the program survival MIXNINE but did not pass the audition stage.
