BLUEMOON Entertainment's girl group, which just debuted on August 4, 2020, recently caught the attention of netizens, especially ELF (Super Junior's fandom). This is because Shindong of SUJU contributed to the making of one of MakaMaka's MVs titled 'Hey U'. Shindong himself has shown his abilities by directing MVs for several groups such as Super Junior, NCT, Red Velvet, and other agencies' groups. This led BLUEMOON Entertainment to fully entrust the making of the MV 'Hey U' to Shindong. So, who are MakaMaka? MakaMaka is led by five beautiful girls named Heesu, DaSeul, EunB, Chaewon, and Dia. The name MakaMaka itself means 'friendly friend', they debuted by releasing the single Burning Power.

MakaMaka also has a fandom name called MAKALONG which is a combination of the words 'MAKA' (taken from the group's name) and 'LONG' (long) where if combined will mean MakaMaka and MAKALONG will stay together for a long time.

The leader position is filled by Kim Hee Su or Heesu who was born on March 24, 1998, in the group she also serves as the main vocalist. Heesu has also participated in the competition show MIXNINE.

Then there is Kwak Min Nyeong or DiA, her nickname was coined by fans. She occupies the position of vocalist and rapper in the group, she was born on September 3, 1999.
