The oldest member of the superstar group BTS, Kim Seokjin or commonly known as Jin, finally officially completed his mandatory military service on Wednesday (12/6/2024) after about a year and a half.

Jin's discharge from the camp a while ago successfully captured public attention. This is because Jin's return was warmly welcomed by the other six active members who are still serving in the military and took a special day off for that day.

Marking the group's 11th anniversary, every June, the annual event titled BTS FESTA was successfully held again this year.

As part of the BTS FESTA, it was revealed through X @bts_bighit official social media that Jin BTS will hold a fanmeet coinciding with BTS's debut date on June 13, 2024. This event is also a moment to cure the longing after the idol's military service.

According to the FESTA event, on June 13th Jin will return to the stage to celebrate BTS's 11th anniversary.

At this BTS fanmeet event, Jin was attended by approximately 4000 fans held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea.

The relieved ARMY warmly welcomed the return of their oldest member, making his name trending on social media X.

Not only that, Jin BTS also personally held a hug event session where he would hug 1000 selected ARMY through a short lottery as a form of love and gratitude from Jin to the fans who have been patiently waiting for his return.

Interestingly, Jin BTS compromised with the agency to allow him to do a hug event with 3000 fans, an idea that was initially not approved. Because Jin was firm and really wanted to hug his fans, the agency, which initially only allowed 50 participants, finally reached an agreement for 1000 fans to be able to hug the man born in 1992.

The event started with Jin singing the song The Astronaut while cycling on stage, which made many fans shed tears.

Jin BTS also performed other solo songs like Super Tuna and Moon. The visuals presented by the man nicknamed Mr. Worldwide Handsome still looked very handsome and captivating, not only for ARMY but also for the general public, even though he is already 31 years old.

Jin also didn't miss out on doing the dance challenge for the 'Han River Cat' which has recently gone viral on social media and has been done by other idols as well. His deadly aegyo makes ARMY extremely fond of him!

Jin revealed that he felt touched, happy, and nervous when seeing fans in front of him. He mentioned that he finally returned to the home that he missed so much during his military service.
