Han So Hee Speaks Out About Her Mother's Alleged Money Fraud

1. Han So Hee Apologizes

In her letter, Han So Hee apologizes and admits that she has to bear the shame caused by her mother's actions. She hopes that there will be no more victims.

She says that when she was around 5 years old, her parents divorced, so she was raised by her grandmother. As an adult, she eventually moved to Seoul and pursued a career. During that time, she admits to having no contact with her mother until she learned about her mother's debt at the age of 20.

"Because my mother is the daughter of the woman who raised me (my grandmother) and because of this as a moral duty as a child to a parent, I paid off my mother's debt as much as I could before my debut," she wrote as quoted from Soompi.

2. Debt Using the Child's Name

"After my debut, I only found out from various creditors that she actually had more unpaid debts and borrowed them in my name without my knowledge," she said.

Han So Hee admits that at that time she was still young, so she thought the only solution was to pay off all her mother's debts. However, it turned out that this actually caused more victims. She apologizes again to the victims and people who were hurt by the case.
