Renjun was born on March 23, 2000, in Jilin, China.
Renjun has a birth name, Huang Renjun, and a Korean name, Hwang In Joon.
Although Renjun comes from China, he is fluent in Korean.
During the SM Entertainment audition, Renjun sang the song Miracle in December which is a song by the famous boy group, EXO.
Renjun is an only child and his mother was hesitant to let Renjun go to Korea.
At the age of 16, Renjun successfully debuted and became a member of NCT Dream.
