Long before TXT was finally debuted in 2019, Big Hit Entertainment already had plans to form a new boy group under their agency. Specifically, in 2018, the agency had already hinted to fans that there would be a new boy group forming. 

In early 2019, precisely on January 10, 2019, Big Hit Entertainment launched a new website that contained a mysterious countdown. Without explaining the purpose of this website, Big Hit only left two sentences that sounded like concept teasers, which were “What do you do? What do you see?”. This concept immediately sparked speculation among the public, with some even thinking it was a countdown for BTS's comeback.

2. Achievements in Just Two Weeks Since Debut

Many fans have been eagerly anticipating TXT's debut, even long before TXT was officially announced by their agency. Finally, in March 2019, they debuted with their mini album titled THE DREAM CHAPTER: STAR and its title track Crown. 

When the music video for the title track was released for 24 hours, it broke a fantastic record. The video was watched more than 14 million times within 24 hours. And it didn't stop there, just two weeks after their debut, they also won their first trophy after 8 days of debut on the music show SBS THE SHOW.

3. Fandom Name Change

In 2019, the agency announced the fandom name for TXT, which is Young One. The name has a special meaning for both the agency and TXT. It turns out that the word is taken from a wordplay in the Korean language, yeongwon, which means forever.

However, it was discovered that the word had already been used to name the fandom of a member from one of the famous girl groups, Girls' Generation, Tiffany Young. This caused a lot of discussion and even protests from Tiffany's fans. As a result, the agency immediately apologized and changed TXT's fandom name to MOA. 

4. Finally Holding a Concert After Two Years of Career

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on all aspects of human life. This includes the entertainment industry. Many activities are limited and hindered from being carried out, resulting in postponements. This is also experienced by TXT. The planned concert is finally canceled due to this pandemic.

However, good news seems to be coming from this accomplished boy group. They have started announcing that they will hold their first concert soon. The concert is said to be held on October 3, 2021. This is also reinforced by the release of the concert poster on their social media.

5. Concert Held Online

Because we are still in a situation that is not yet truly conducive and safe from the threat of COVID-19, the concert that will be held by TXT will be conducted online. Although it is regrettable, fans understand it because the situation and conditions do not allow it.
