During a press conference before his mini concert titled 'UNVEIL' at The Kasablanka, South Jakarta some time ago, Hwang Minhyun explained about his two professions.
"As a singer, I can be myself because I started out as a singer. But as an actor, I portray a new character, so there is a difference there, becoming someone different," said Hwang Minhyun.

During the opportunity, Hwang Minhyun was asked about the secret to getting close to his co-stars in the dramas he has starred in.
"From the dramas LIVE ON and ALCHEMY OF SOULS, the secret is that the main cast members are all around the same age. So we can become friends. We can be more than just colleagues, we can go out to eat together," he said.

The man born on August 9, 1995 also recommended one of his favorite shooting locations that can be visited by his fans, also known as Hwangdo.
"Of course, there are many great shooting locations that I want to recommend. But if I have to choose one, during the filming of ALCHEMY OF SOULS, there is an area called Mungyeong where Korean culture is still well preserved. The set location for traditional dramas is still very good, so I will recommend that place," he concluded.
