Kapanlagi.com - Not only focusing on the actors' performances, Korean drama viewers have definitely seen scenes of people drinking a glass of soju. This drink is indeed closely associated with the Ginseng Country.

However, who would have thought that now soju can be enjoyed by Muslims. Even though it is known that this drink contains alcohol. This idea is what prompted one resident of Bandung to try producing halal-labeled soju.

1. Inspired by Korean Drama

This non-alcoholic soju is branded as Mojiso and is made by a woman named Sovi. She said that soju is difficult to find in Indonesia. Interestingly, she admitted that this idea was inspired by Korean dramas.

"The inspiration came from watching Korean dramas, I wanted to try the food and drinks from the dramas," she said as quoted from Kompas.com.

2. Different from Soju Content

Sovi said that the Mojiso brand drink is very different from soju.

"It's like virgin mojito, but you mix it to have a fresh and warm sensation when consumed using natural ingredients and of course halal," he explained.

A bottle of soju is priced at Rp 45,000. For those who are curious, you can follow their Instagram @eommik.id.
