[Interview] 5 Things You Should Know About U-KNOW

Kapanlagi.com - U-KNOW, also known as Yunho TVXQ, has just released his new single Time's Tickin' on July 20, 2026. KapanLagi had the opportunity to ask more questions to this living legend of K-Pop. Let's check out the full interview below.

Q: Tell us about your daily life. What are your routines from waking up to going to bed?

U-KNOW: After waking up, I do cardio on an empty stomach. After that, I have a light breakfast, and then I practice choreography. Since my new single was released, I've been listening to various feedback and opinions about it. After finishing my activities for the day and before getting ready for bed, I will review everything once again. And I sleep while listening to music.

Q: If I could peek into your bag, what are 3 things that are definitely inside?

U-KNOW: There’s lip balm, a notebook because I need it to write notes, and I also have a pencil case.

Q: You released the physical single 'Time's Tickin'. How does this project reflect who you are now?

U-KNOW: 'Time's Tickin'' means time passing. So, it carries my determination to not just go with the flow of time, but to make it align with my own pace. Regarding the ballad, this is the first time I’m introducing a ballad more seriously. Because of that, I can show a new side of myself, to show people that U-KNOW has vocals like this, so now I’m very excited.

Q: Can you give a sneak peek about the choreography for 'Time's Tickin'?

U-KNOW: We show the movement of a clock with both hands moving like this. So we express it as if we are speeding up time.

Q: 'An Ordinary Story' feels more personal. Can you tell us about this song?

U-KNOW: Sure, I think 'An Ordinary Story' is the first lyrical ballad that I’m bringing to all of you. I have always liked the word "ordinary". Everyone has unforgettable moments in their life, right? I hope you can listen to my song and feel the gratitude that may have been forgotten, and maybe use this moment to reconnect with the people around you.

U-KNOW: Thank you so much for supporting me from afar. Please give a lot of love and support for my new single, 'Time's Tickin''. Oh, and there's good news.
