Red Velvet Ready to Celebrate 12th Debut Anniversary through LEVEL UP PROJECT 6

Kapanlagi.com - Red Velvet will celebrate their 12th debut anniversary in a special way. The group from SM Entertainment is confirmed to revive the reality show LEVEL UP PROJECT with the sixth season scheduled to air starting August 14, 2026.

The announcement was made on July 15 through an official poster that also confirmed the return of the program after about four years of hiatus.

1. LEVEL UP PROJECT is Back

After last appearing a few years ago, LEVEL UP PROJECT finally returns to accompany fans. This reality show, which first aired in 2017, is known for showcasing the daily lives of the members outside their busy schedules as idols.

The sixth season is prepared as part of the celebration of Red Velvet's 12-year journey in the music industry, thus presenting a more special concept.

2. Special Vacation Spiced Up with Various Exciting Missions

Instead of just enjoying leisure time, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri will embark on a vacation filled with various challenges.

Each mission is designed to test the team's cohesion while also showcasing the members' spontaneous sides. Viewers will also see the unique interactions of Red Velvet that have been the main attraction of the series.

3. Airing Three Episodes Starting August 14

The latest season of LEVEL UP PROJECT will consist of three episodes. The premiere episode is scheduled to air on August 14, 2026, and will continue every Friday at 8:00 PM KST through Mnet and Wavve.

SM Entertainment also confirmed that each episode will be available on the official Red Velvet YouTube channel a week after the premiere, allowing fans in various countries to watch.

4. Reality Show as a Warm-Up Before Comeback

Before greeting fans through a reality show, Red Velvet will first return to the music industry with the summer mini album Velvet Summer, scheduled for release on August 3, 2026.

The album will feature five new songs, including the title track Surfin' Boy, which will be Red Velvet's first comeback before starting the promotional series for LEVEL UP PROJECT Season 6.
