Kim Myung Soo: Almost every day, I go to the gym and fitness school to do strength training. I also practice various martial arts movements and learn about various weapons.

Question: Can you tell us about some episodes during filming with actor Lee Yi Kyung, especially the bromance part? There are funny elements in this drama. Do you often laugh out loud during filming?
Kim Myung Soo: During acting, he did a lot of improvisation and it was so fun that the staff on set also enjoyed it. Thanks to that, I also acted spontaneously and flowed along with Chun Sam.

Question: In this drama, you played the role of a slave with Lee Yi-kyung, had a romance with Kwon Na-ra, and played the role of Lee Tae-hwan's half-brother. What do you remember most about the actors you filmed with and what was the most memorable thing about filming on set together?
Kim Myung Soo: The chemistry among us was great and we were very close to each other. If there was an NG (No Good), it was funny, we knew each other so well that it caused an NG. There were only Da-in, Chun-sam, Yi-gyeom. And they were all so nice.

Question: What is the most interesting part of ROYAL SECRET AGENT?
Kim Myung Soo: In my opinion, the moral message is very interesting. The satisfaction of punishing the criminals, saving those who need to be saved. The characters' frankness is also interesting.

Question: In this drama, which scene is your favorite and why?
Kim Myung Soo: Facing death, there is no difference between nobles and the poor. Why does the son of a great governor hate the generous and consider their deaths meaningless? There is no reason. It struck me deeply.

Question: What are the similarities and differences between you and the character Sung Yi-gyum that you play? Do you have any aspirations for the future?
Kim Myung Soo: As the filming progressed, I became more immersed in the character Sung Yi-gyeom. Usually, I automatically put my hands behind my back when wearing Hanbok. Sometimes I think, 'Oh, I have become Sung Yi-gyeom.' The way Sung Yi-gyeom concentrates on the tasks given to him is also the same as me when I am given difficult tasks. Some things that Sung Yi-gyeom feared, I also fear.

Question: In the beginning of the drama, there is a scene where you are very skilled at gambling, do you have a poker face? Do you think you can deceive people if you play the role of a mafia character? Are you someone who expresses their feelings on their face or hides them in your heart?
Kim Myung Soo: I think it's different, from time to time. Sometimes a poker face works, sometimes it doesn't.

Question: I heard that you did 95% of the action scenes by yourself, which scene was the most relaxing and which was the most challenging? Have you ever been injured during filming or during prior training? Are your hands blistered from shooting?
Kim Myung Soo: I had a difficult time during the early stages of filming, and had to undergo two months of treatment to recover from a knee injury I suffered during an action scene. But I remained happy and enjoyed the process.

Question: ROYAL SECRET AGENT is a historical drama with a comedic element. Have you ever done ad-libs while acting? Is the dance scene in the first episode an ad-lib scene?
Kim Myung Soo: The dance scene is an improvisation. Besides that, there are many parts that are not in the script in acting in this drama, hopefully I can compare it with the script later on.

Question: Actor Lee Yi Kyung is known for his creativity on set. Do you often laugh when working with him? Among you, Kwon Na-ra or Lee Yi-kyung, who is the funniest? How many times did you have the most NG (blooper)?
Kim Myung Soo: The chemistry among us is so good and we are so close to each other. If there is an NG (blooper), it's funny, we know each other so well, so we have NG scenes.

Question: What is the charm of Sung Yi Gyeom in this drama?
Kim Myung Soo: With a relaxed and flexible attitude in ordinary times and a serious expression when solving cases, the development of this character is very charming.

Question: In the bathing scene at the lake, the audience admires the shape of Sung Yi-gyum's body. Do you undergo special training or diet before shooting this scene?
Kim Myung Soo: I did intense exercise for about 4-5 months and trained twice a week for six hours, while also doing a diet.

Question: Are you satisfied when dressing like a girl? Which part looks beautiful when dressed like a girl?
Kim Myung Soo: Not only satisfied, I think I look beautiful with a half updo hairstyle.
