Kim Ji Won Shares How She Prepares Before Starting a Drama or Film Project - Reveals Desired Role

The 31-year-old actress also discussed her acting career, which she has been pursuing for 14 years.

The Korean artist, who is affectionately called "Mami" by her fans in Indonesia, shared how she prepares for new projects. "There’s nothing special, I work hard to read the script once I receive it, and I do readings with the director or other cast members," Kim Ji Won stated during the press conference held at Raffles Hotel Jakarta, (31/08/2024).

Kim Ji Won also revealed what kind of role she desires. It turns out she wants to try portraying a character close to her age, like Yeom Ji Jeong in MY LIBERATION NOTES, which she played.

"Because I have acted in various ages from 21 to 30. I want to try a role that is closer to my age. However, for me, the role in MY LIBERATION NOTES is the closest to me," explained Kim Ji Won.

Kim Ji Won truly enjoys her work as an actress. Through this job, Kim Ji Won is able to grow and even meet many people who love her.

"Acting makes me develop more. And I have the opportunity to meet many people like you," said Kim Ji Won.
