During an online press conference on Monday (21/3/2022), Red Velvet was asked about their feelings on making a comeback in the spring. Irene, the leader, then explained what their focus was when preparing for this album.

"First of all, I'm happy to meet ReVeluvs again. I can't wait to show a new side of Red Velvet. Because we're transitioning from winter to spring, and spring gives an aura of new beginnings, so we're trying to show the chill of winter and the warmth of spring. Also, as a new beginning for Red Velvet's festival, The ReVe Festival," said Irene.

"If we talk about summer, the weather is hot, so we look for something that can excite our feelings, like a taste. That's why we think Red Flavor is perfect for summer. Personally, I think sight and smell are important for spring. Our music video stimulates these two senses and reminds us of the scent of flowers, with colorful visuals that satisfy the eyes. In addition, spring also reminds us of the beginning of something new, making it the season of new beginnings for Red Velvet as well," explained Wendy.

3. The Meaning of Classical Music in the Song Feel My Rhythm

At the beginning of the song Feel My Rhythm, there is a classical melody playing, which is Air On The G String. This is the first time Red Velvet's main song uses classical music sampling. Seulgi then explains why Feel My Rhythm was chosen as the main song and why there is classical music involved:

"Feel My Rhythm is a great song that shows the classical side but also the energy and experimental colors of Red Velvet. The main concept of our ReVe Festival that started anew this year is 'Travel Imagination'. So we chose Feel My Rhythm because it fits with the Travel Imagination concept and starts a new beginning that makes you excited, like spring. Air On The G String is also perfect for spring and is widely known and familiar to the public, so we decided to use it for your new song," Seulgi concluded.
