Krystal Jung Admits That Her Personality is Similar to the Character Bo Yeong in the Movie 'SWEET & SOUR'

Krystal also talked about the character she portrayed. She feels that Bo Yeong has a chic and cool side.

"Bo Yeong is a chic and cool person. She is very honest with her feelings and has an interesting character. She is also a hard worker, especially when it comes to her love life," Krystal revealed during an online press conference a while ago.

Discussing the character she played, Krystal further revealed that she really likes Bo Yeong, who is capable of loving herself, "While there is nothing I dislike about her. Bo Yeong has a strong character. I think it's because my character loves herself very much."

Krystal also does not deny that the character she played is similar to herself because they both live their lives with enthusiasm. This could be one of the reasons why the director of SWEET & SOUR chose Krystal to play Bo Yeong.

"I don't want to compare, but I really wanted a chic and cool character as Jang Hyeok's office mate. I want to show the contrast between Bo Yeong's character and others so that it can depict how Jang Hyeok's feelings can change. That's why I chose her," explained director Lee Kae Byeok.

2. Relatable SWEET & SOUR Story

There is an interesting story that is the reason why Krystal decided to take the offer for the film SWEET & SOUR. According to her sister Jessica Jung, the story of her new film is so real and can actually happen in everyday life.

"The story is so real that I feel like my friends would say 'That happened to me!'" she explained.

Krystal also added, "Real-life events like that make me interested. Besides, Bo Yeong is a character that brings dramatic elements to the film. I also like it because the story is about someone in my generation."
