At the age of 22, the actor born on January 24, 1996, donated a significant portion of his liver to his mother, who was critically ill due to liver cirrhosis.

The liver transplant surgery required Lee Joo Ahn to sacrifice up to 70% of his vital organ to save the life of his beloved mother.
