The drama THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH which airs on SBS tells the story of Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and detective Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun). They live in parallel worlds, where Korea is a constitutional monarchy and also a country similar to a republic in the modern era.

When asked to choose his favorite scene, Lee Min Ho chose the end of episode 4, where he says, "I am the Emperor of the Korean Empire, and my name, which is chosen not to be mentioned, is Lee Gon." This dialogue is spoken after Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul first cross over to the Korean Empire.

At the end of this drama, Lee Min Ho expressed his gratitude to the viewers of THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH. Not forgetting, he also conveyed his hopes amidst the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic.
