Leeteuk shared an unpleasant experience he just had through an Instagram post. On May 30, 2026, the leader of Super Junior revealed that his new car was involved in an accident after being hit from behind on the highway.

The incident occurred shortly after he received the vehicle he had long awaited. Amid a comeback schedule, tour, and other personal matters, Leeteuk is now even planning to sell the car after the repair process is completed.

Leeteuk revealed that he decided to buy a Porsche Taycan GTS after completing his activities as a Porsche ambassador in Korea. The car became a new vehicle that he had long wanted to own.

When the accident occurred, the car was still in very pristine condition. Its mileage was only about 800 kilometers, and some of the vehicle's original protective layers had not even been fully removed.

According to Leeteuk's account, his car was hit from behind by another vehicle while on the highway. The impact was quite hard, causing him to feel a strong jolt throughout his body.

As a result of the collision, the rear of the car sustained significant damage. Leeteuk expressed his disappointment because the still-new vehicle now has to bear the status of a used accident car.

The leader of Super Junior estimates that the repair costs for his car will reach almost 14 million won or around Rp 165 million. This large amount adds to his frustration over the unexpected incident.

Not only was the vehicle damaged, but Leeteuk also experienced pain in his neck and back after the accident. He admitted that he is currently undergoing physical therapy every day to aid in his recovery process.
