The first news comes from the group PENTAGON. Five members out of a total of 8 members, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Woo Seok, were announced to have left CUBE Entertainment on October 9, 2023.
They have decided not to renew their contracts with the agency after their exclusive contracts of seven years expired.
However, the PENTAGON members explained that the group will not disband even though 5 members did not renew their contracts. Currently, there are still three PENTAGON members who have contracts with CUBE Entertainment, namely Hui Jin Ho, Hong Seok, and Shin Won.

Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun of Super Junior have decided to leave SM Entertainment. The agency announced that the three Super Junior members have left after mutually agreeing not to renew their contracts.
According to the agency, these three members did not renew their contracts with the agency because they wanted to continue their careers outside of SM Entertainment. However, all three of them will still remain part of the Super Junior group. Currently, it is known that Donghae and Eunhyuk have established their own agency, while Kyuhyun has joined Atenna agency.

Sunny Girls Generation is also reported to not renew her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment on August 8, 2023. This was confirmed by the agency and also by Sunny through her personal Instagram account.
However, until now, there has been no answer as to whether Sunny will still continue to be active as a member of Girls Generation and also her career as a public figure.

Rocky ASTRO has decided to leave his group after his contract with the agency, Fantagio Entertainment, ended. The news was announced directly by Fantagio, the agency of ASTRO. Fantagio announced that Rocky left ASTRO on Tuesday, (28/02/2023).
Now, ASTRO will continue their career with a 5-member composition. As for Rocky, there is no further confirmation regarding his future career activities after leaving the group.

Rowoon also became an artist who ended his exclusive contract as an idol from the SF9 Group and decided to focus on his career as an actor.
The contracts of the SF9 members were indeed scheduled to end on September 18. All members extended their contracts with FNC Entertainment except for Rowoon. This actor finally apologized and explained that he will always remember SF9 as a group with nine members.

Brave Girls members also ended their contract with Brave Entertainment agency on February 16, 2023. Although no members extended their contract, Brave Girls' leader, Minyoung, explained that their group will not disband and will continue activities as 4 members.
Now, Brave Girls is reported to make a comeback as a group with a new name. The four beautiful women are reported to have joined a new agency, Warner Music Korea.
