COVID-19 cases have apparently surged again in South Korea in November, due to the lifting of social distancing measures at the beginning of the month after successfully vaccinating 70% of its 52 million population. As of December 1, 2021, it was reported that COVID-19 cases have exceeded 5,000 for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. This is supported by the new Delta variant, which has led to an increase in hospitalizations and high death rates. Apparently, these Korean celebrities have also experienced the bitterness of COVID-19 amidst their busy schedules. They have to take a total rest to recover their condition. On November 30, Jung Woo Sung's agency, Artist Company, revealed, "Jung Woo Sung tested positive for COVID-19 last night and has been self-quarantining. It has been more than two weeks since he received the second vaccine dose."

On November 30, CL&Company agency released a statement that actor Go Kyung Pyo tested positive for COVID-19 on November 30. He had received both of his vaccines in August and October. As a result, the actor had to cancel all of his schedules.

On November 28, the upcoming KBS drama 'Taejong Yi Bang Won' released a statement that cast member Ye Ji Won has been exposed to COVID-19 and did not come into contact with any other cast members or crew.

On November 26, IST Entertainment announced that VICTON's Heo Chan has been diagnosed with COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. He does not have any symptoms and is currently in safe quarantine. The other VICTON members have been tested and received negative results.

On November 25, Cube Entertainment announced that Kino PENTAGON has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and is currently following health authority guidelines.

On November 25, YG Entertainment stated that Lisa BLACKPINK has tested positive for COVID-19. Lisa's health is in good condition and she is not showing any specific symptoms. The other members of BLACKPINK have tested negative.

On November 14, OUI Entertainment issued a statement that Kim Yo Han WEi has tested positive for COVID-19. He is currently in quarantine, although asymptomatic and already vaccinated. Meanwhile, the release of the drama SCHOOL 2021 will proceed according to the timeline.
