MAMAMOO Surprises Fans with New Album Release

Kapanlagi.com - Many fans are always looking forward to the latest work from their idol, including MAMAMOO fans. MAMAMOO is a South Korean female vocal group formed by Rainbow Bridge World Entertainment. The group itself has been around for 7 years.

MAMAMOO officially debuted on June 19, 2014 with members Hwasa, Solar, Wheein, and Moonbyul. The group debuted with the song 'Mr.Ambiguous' which led them to become the Rookie Of The Year. Led by Solar, this group is well-known for their excellent singing abilities.

In groups that have been around for 7 years, contract termination or disbandment often occurs. This is also a concern for MAMAMOO fans, or commonly known as Moomoos, as many groups have ended when they reached 7 years, such as 2NE1, Sistar, 4 Minute, and many others.

Fans are worried because on June 13, 2021, Wheein, one of the members of MAMAMOO, decided to leave Rainbow Bridge World Entertainment. This happened because Wheein wanted to try a new environment for her, "Hello, this is Wheein from MAMAMOO. However, Wheein did not leave the group and stayed with MAMAMOO. This is what makes fans happy because Wheein can still promote and create works with MAMAMOO even in a different agency. This shows Wheein's love for their fans.

However, behind all that, there is surprising news for Momoos, which was reported by SPOTV News on August 27, 2021, since the contract extension in June. MAMAMOO is rumored to release their ‘Best Album’ which contains their popular songs for 7 years. Not only a compilation of popular songs, but MAMAMOO also adds two new songs to this album.

The members also participated in the selection of their popular songs that will be released in the ‘Best Album’. They worked on this album with full emotions, attention, and devoted all their hard work. The ‘Best Album’ itself will be released in September, but there is no specific date yet.
