Kapanlagi.com - Amid the dazzling K-pop industry, Mark Lee stands out as a unique phenomenon that captures attention. The Canadian-born man, now 25 years old, has become one of the most influential figures in the Korean music scene. Although still quite young, his career journey, which has spanned nearly 10 years, makes him an experienced figure in the music industry.
Mark Lee's journey in the entertainment world began with a simple audition in Vancouver in 2012, when SM Entertainment, one of the giants of the Korean entertainment industry, held a talent search. Who would have thought that this young man's brave step to audition would lead him on an amazing journey as one of the busiest musicians in Asia? Now, his name has become synonymous with success, thanks to his important roles in various sub-units of the top group NCT.
Looking at Mark Lee today, it is hard to believe that this man, who often appears with bursting energy, is starting to feel old at such a young age. However, this is certainly understandable considering his packed career activities as a member of NCT 127 and NCT Dream. What has Mark's career journey in NCT been like, especially amidst his ongoing busy schedule with the World Tour? Let's find out the answer in the following review!

Mark Lee's busyness as an integral part of two sub-units of NCT has never waned. With a schedule that seems to know no breaks, he continues to move from one stage to another, undergoing a series of exhausting yet proud world tours.
In the midst of this packed schedule, Mark managed to take some time to chat with The Hollywood Reporter via video conference from the fashion capital of Paris, in between the promotional tour for NCT Dream's latest album titled Dreamscape. This album comes as a manifestation of NCT Dream's latest creative expression, featuring 11 mesmerizing songs. As one of the key members of the group, Mark enthusiastically shared his views on the lead single WHEN I'M WITH YOU.
According to Mark, this song successfully combines the musical essence of NCT Dream with refreshing modern elements, creating a blend that feels familiar yet remains innovative. He explained that this single was crafted with a careful approach, offering a melody that is easy to enjoy while still maintaining a strong commercial appeal.
"I believe this album will take our team to the next level," Mark told The Hollywood Reporter.
A wave of criticism hit NCT Dream's latest comeback through the album Dreamscape, with a number of NCTzens expressing their dissatisfaction with what they felt was a decline in quality. The main focus was on the choreography, which was deemed less than optimal, as well as the musical vibe that seemed to lose the distinctive touch of NCT Dream.
The situation intensified when NCT Dream held a live streaming session to celebrate the release of their new album. What was supposed to be a moment of happiness with fans turned into a platform for sharp criticism, especially from Korean NCTzens.
The intensity of negative comments flooding the streaming platform also forced Jeno and Haechan to take an unexpected step. Both of them, along with the other members, had to deliver an apology live during the broadcast.
As the leader of NCT Dream, Mark Lee has finally taken a wise step to ease the tension between the group and their fans. Through a post on the Weverse platform on (11/12), he acknowledged the miscoordination of timing during the live broadcast of the release of WHEN I'M WITH YOU. He emphasized that the difference in time zones between London and Korea was the main factor that led to the scheduling error.
Mark expressed that this apology is specifically directed to NCTzen who have faithfully accompanied and eagerly awaited our latest work. The disappointment they felt truly troubled my heart, but this is certainly not aimed at those who only intend to spread negativity.
"I want to express my deep apologies for not being able to be present on time for the comeback launch and for not being able to perform live. Especially because I understand the reasons why NCTzen feel disappointed, unlike those who are not our fans and throw negative comments. I feel that many NCTzen who support us are very disappointed with this incident, and that is what disturbs me the most," wrote Mark.
So, KLovers, what do you think? Write it in the comments section, okay? Make sure to keep following the latest news from KapanLagi. If not now, when?
