Allegedly Embezzling Concert Investor Funds for TWICE, Melani Mecimapro Officially Becomes a Suspect and is Detained

Jakarta, October 30, 2025

The Metro Jaya Police have officially named the Director of PT Melani Citra Permata, better known as Mecimapro, Fransiska Dwi Melani, as a suspect in a criminal case of embezzlement reported by PT Media Inspirasi Bangsa (MIB).

The legal counsel for PT MIB, Aldi Rizki, explained that this case began from the collaboration for the K-Pop concert of TWICE in Jakarta on December 23, 2023. The reported party is accused of fraud and embezzlement of funds provided by PT MIB.

The reporting party has attempted to resolve this issue amicably, but has never received a positive response. The reporting party then sent a letter of demand for the return of funds and cancellation of the financing agreement, but the efforts made by PT MIB did not receive a good response from the reported party. As a result of this act, the reporting party suffered financial losses amounting to tens of billions of rupiah.

After communication and demand efforts yielded no results, on January 10, 2025, PT MIB officially reported the incident and the individual to the authorities through Police Report Number LP/B/187/I/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. Fransiska Dwi Melani is strongly suspected of committing Fraud or Deceitful Acts and/or Embezzlement, as referred to in Article 378 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code.

After a series of investigative processes, in September 2025 law enforcement officials designated Ms. Fransiska Dwi Melani as a SUSPECT and have detained her. "We appreciate the quick and responsive action of the investigators in handling this case," said Aldi.

Aldi hopes that the legal process involving his client can continue to proceed within the applicable legal corridors in a professional and transparent manner, in order to uphold justice and provide legal certainty for PT MIB as the aggrieved party.

The legal counsel also urges all parties to respect the ongoing legal process and not to spread misleading opinions in the public sphere. This case will continue to be actively monitored and will continue to coordinate with the police to ensure that the legal rights of PT MIB remain protected.
