The action thriller series “The Tyrant” will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 14, 2024. To celebrate the release of the series, 200 selected fans from Indonesia attended the Virtual Fan Meeting for “The Tyrant” held in Jakarta on Friday, August 9, 2024. The event was hosted by Indra Herlambang and featured the main cast virtually, including Cha Seungwon, Kim Seonho, Kim Kangwoo, and Jo Yoonsu.

The event began with a talk show session with the cast discussing “The Tyrant” in more depth. They shared behind-the-scenes experiences and revealed interesting dialogues.

The series “The Tyrant consists of four episodes that tell the story of a secret government project from Korea revealed by the US intelligence agency. When the project sample delivery is attacked by unknown parties, agents from both countries must work together to prevent the dangerous formula from falling into the wrong hands. The series stars Cha Seungwon as Lim Sang, a cold-blooded mercenary; Kim Seonho as Director Choe, the leader of the secret project in Korea; Kim Kangwoo as a US intelligence agent named Paul; and Jo Yoonsu as a skilled infiltrator named Chae Jagyoung. The series is written and directed by Park Hoonjung.
