Portrait of the Excitement of the Virtual Fan Meeting Celebrating the Release of 'THE TYRANT' in Indonesia Held by Disney+ Hotstar, Featuring Kim Seon Ho!

The event began with a talk show session with the cast discussing more about the series “The Tyrant.” The cast shared behind-the-scenes excitement and interesting dialogue snippets. One of the actors in this series, Kim Seonho, also shared his reasons for joining this series.

"I feel the script is really exciting. The character of Director Choe is a role I've dreamed of for a long time. Unlike most characters I've played, which are cheerful and fun, Director Choe is someone who is lonely and isolated, so I really want to see if I can take on this challenge," said Kim Seon Ho.

Jo Yoonsu also explained his reason for joining "The Tyrant", "I am indeed a fan of the director and the actors who are working with me on this series. Moreover, when I read the script, I read it straight through from beginning to end because it was so exciting. So, after finishing the script, I immediately accepted this role."

Not only sharing the excitement behind the production process, the cast of "The Tyrant" also played games with all the fans present at the event. The fans enthusiastically participated and guessed interesting facts that happened among the cast during filming.

Starting from the most entertaining actor in the midst of shooting tense scenes to the actor who often gives advice. Additionally, five lucky fans also had the opportunity to play and interact with the cast of “The Tyrant”.

The excitement of the event continued with the presentation of videos and artwork from Indonesian fans. The surprise gifts from fans that incorporate elements of Indonesian culture became the closing of the celebration for the release of the series “The Tyrant”. 

Cha Seungwon, Kim Seonho, Kim Kangwoo, and Jo Yoonsu enthusiastically received the gifts and hope that fans will enjoy their work in the series “The Tyrant” which will soon be available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Consisting of four episodes, the series "The Tyrant" tells the story of a secret government project in Korea, designed to drastically enhance human capabilities, revealed by the US intelligence agency. Angered by the secrecy, the US demands that all samples be handed over and the project be halted immediately. However, when the handover of the secrets is attacked by an unknown party, agents from both sides must work together to prevent the dangerous new formula from falling into the wrong hands. 

"The Tyrant" stars Cha Seungwon as Lim Sang, a cold-blooded mercenary; Kim Seonho as Director Choe, the leader of the secret Korean project; Kim Kangwoo as a US intelligence agent named Paul; and Jo Yoonsu as a skilled infiltrator named Chae Jagyoung. The series is written and directed by Park Hoonjung.
