Now as Husband and Wife, Namgoong Min candidly reveals he was rejected by Jin Ah Reum multiple times

Recently, actor Namgoong Min candidly discussed his love journey with Jin Ah Reum on a popular YouTube show.

Nam Goong Min revealed that the meeting with Jin Ah Reum happened by chance, without any prior plans, through an unplanned film project.

"First of all, I have never told this story before. I was supposed to fly to China to shoot a film, but the main actress got injured, so the shoot was postponed for 2 months. I was thinking about what to do during those 2 months, so I decided to make a film from a script I had already written. I gathered the staff and made the film at my own expense. There was one female character who had no dialogue. She looked like a model, and that was Jin Ah Reum. We never spoke during the shoot. I got her number from a friend. She was surprised when I called her," said Nam Goong Min.

Although Namgoong Min is known to the public as a handsome top actor, his romantic relationship with Jin Ah Reum did not go smoothly at the beginning.

Namgoong Min admitted that he was rejected several times by Jin Ah Reum while trying to get close before they finally started dating.

Because he was rejected multiple times, Namgoong Min even considered forgetting his feelings for Jin Ah Reum and moving on.

"I once heard that when someone keeps saying they like you, eventually that feeling will fade. She also said that she didn't like me. Then, before going to China, I asked her to meet with me one more time. That night, she rejected me again," said Namgoong Min.

"I am the type of person who moves on quickly if rejected, but after passing through immigration following my flight, I received a long message from her. She said that she rejected me because I was in a hurry and she felt I was too pushy. We then met again after I returned to Korea. It took some time after I got back, until we finally started dating. One day when I was taking her home, she offered to go have a beer together. While drinking, I asked her again to be my girlfriend. She wasn't very happy and said that I should have asked her earlier," she concluded.
