On April 17, 2026, Park Bom shared a handwritten letter via Instagram to respond to the issue involving Sandara Park. She explained the background of her career journey while defending her group mate.
This three-page letter was addressed to the South Korean public as her final clarification. Through this emotional writing, Park Bom expressed her deep love for the members of 2NE1.
Park Bom opened her letter by saying this might be her last chance to speak. She wants the public to hear her version directly without intermediaries.
She recounts the beginning of her career while studying in the United States until she decided to return to Korea to become a singer. "I want to be the best," she wrote.
In her letter, Park Bom also introduced CL as a charismatic leader. She mentioned that CL has an extraordinary stage presence and always looks cool.
Not to be missed, she praised Gong Minzy as a genius dancer. According to her, Minzy has a natural talent that makes anyone amazed every time they see her perform.
The most emotional part comes when Park Bom discusses Sandara Park. She describes Dara as a hardworking person who always smiles and maintains team harmony.
Park Bom also touched on the issue of accusations she had made previously. She hopes the public can overlook that for the sake of preserving the memories and journey of the group.
At the end of the letter, Park Bom reaffirms her love for the members and fans. She refers to the togetherness of 2NE1 as a "miracle" that she does not want to take for granted.
