Kapanlagi.com - The variety show TWOGETHER, which will be starred by Lee Seung Gi and Jasper Lie, is highly anticipated by fans. This variety show will be aired on Netflix starting from June 26, 2020.
Lee Seung Gi and Jasper Liu travel to several countries to meet their fans. One of the countries they visited is Indonesia. In Indonesia, they visited two cities, namely Yogyakarta and Bali.

As explained by the PD (Producer) during the press conference on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, Cho Hyo Jin PD, the initial idea of this show came about when he thought of bringing together two guys with different cultures and languages, and have them go on vacation together.
"The initial idea came about when I thought about how it would be like to bring together two guys from different languages and cultures to go on vacation together. That's how we decided to create a variety show called TWOGETHER, which has the concept of a journey to find fans. The name of the show is a combination of 'two' and 'together,' two guys doing missions together to complete them. The fans also introduce the area where they were raised to their idols. But before meeting the fans, they have to complete their missions first," explained Cho PD.

On the other hand, PD Go Min Seok shared the process of initially casting these two guys from different countries. He even revealed that he was not hesitant to invite Lee Seung Gi to join this variety show project. Go PD immediately liked Jasper Liu's cheerful side when they first met.
"When I was asked to create this project, I was not hesitant to cast Lee Seung Gi. In the process of searching for other artists, among many artists, I also thought of Jasper Liu. I was curious about this actor. Although he does not have experience in variety shows, we also interviewed him and he was so enthusiastic to meet us. When we first met, I remember how cheerful he was, he liked to smile a lot, and his smile was so similar to Lee Seung Gi's. I think it would be very enjoyable if Lee Seung Gi and Jasper Liu were paired," said Go Min Seok.
