Kapanlagi.com - Sad news has just arrived from two members of iKON, Jinhwan and Junhoe. They were reported to have been in an accident on Monday night (13/7/2020) which immediately caused concern among their fans worldwide.

Junhoe and Jinhwan were passengers in a van that slipped during the rain and crashed into a retaining wall on a toll road. All three passengers in the car, including (Jinhwan, Junhoe, and the driver), suffered minor injuries and received immediate treatment.

1. Driver Can Be Punished

On Tuesday (14/7/2020), Yonhap News released photos from the location of the accident. The photos show the car that Jinhwan and Junhoe were in crashing into a wall on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, the Namhae Police Department has decided to investigate the intoxicated driver whose blood alcohol level reached 0.08%. With that level, the driver in question can have their driving license revoked.

2. Statement from YG

Fans iKON themselves quickly created the hashtag #YGprotectiKON. They requested that the agency make a statement. Fortunately, YG responded quickly and issued a statement regarding the accident experienced by two of its artists.

"We have strict rules against drunk driving. But apparently, this incident occurred, so we feel responsible. We will conduct an internal investigation to take strong action against the driver," said YG.
