The Gangnam Seoul Police confirmed that they will not pursue the alleged prostitution case involving former member THE BOYZ, Ju Haknyeon, on July 2, 2025. This case emerged following reports of his meeting with former Japanese adult actress, Asuka Kirara, last May.

Although he was accused of having a sexual relationship with Asuka Kirara, Ju Haknyeon strongly denied the news.
He also questioned the decision to terminate his contract and expressed his intention to sue the accuser for false allegations.
On June 19, a reporter filed an official report with the police to investigate the alleged prostitution.
However, the police ultimately decided not to continue the investigation due to a lack of evidence and specific reasons supporting the allegations.
The content of the reporter's allegations only referred to articles on the internet, which were deemed insufficient as a legal basis to initiate an investigation.
Nevertheless, the reporting party expressed regret over the police's decision and stated that this case should be processed like other cases that originated from media reports.
They emphasize that the cessation of this case does not mean the allegations are legally considered false.
This situation still leaves public questions regarding the standards of investigation for similar cases in the future.
