Lee Soo Hyuk is a South Korean actor and model currently under YG Entertainment management. According to Mydramalist, he started his career as a model in 2006 by appearing in a fashion show for Lone Costume designed by Jung Wook Jun. Although initially better known as a model, Lee Soo Hyuk began gaining attention in the entertainment world when he appeared in the music video of the girl group Gavy NJ in 2009 and later appeared in a 2NE1 music video a year later.

After his appearance in that music video, Lee Soo Hyuk sought to expand his career into acting. He actually made his acting debut with a minor role in the Korean film MY BOSS, MY TEACHER in 2006. However, he only began to be widely recognized after playing the lead role in the romantic film THE BOY FROM IPANEMA in 2010, which earned him various awards.
