Portraying Sullivan in 'SPACE SWEEPERS', Richard Armitage Develops a Taste for Naengmyeon

Kapanlagi.com - The film SPACE SWEEPERS has been released today, Friday (5/2). Several famous Korean stars who also star in this film are Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri.

Interestingly, this film also features a non-Korean actor, Richard Armitage, who portrays the character Sullivan in SPACE SWEEPERS. In the same occasion, Richard greeted the media through a short video during the press conference.

"Hello, I'm Richard Armitage and I'm one of the cast members in SPACE SWEEPERS. Are you all doing well in Korea? I apologize for not being able to join the press conference with you directly. I personally want to thank producer Kim Soo Jin and director Jo Sung Hee. Thank you for inviting me to play the role of Sullivan and bringing me to Korea, a country far from my own, and introducing me to a new country with diverse aspects and culture," said Richard.

1. So Achievement

Richard admits he is proud to be involved in the making of this film. He is proud to have the achievement of meeting other crew members and actors who are equally cool.

"More than that, I am very proud to have a role in a Korean film. This is an achievement for me. Thanks to the hardworking crew, and of course to my friends Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, and Yoo Hae Jin, thank you very much for being so friendly and being good friends to me," he said.

2. Favorite Food

Not only did Richard try acting in the South Korean industry, but he also tried Korean food such as Naengmyeon, cold beef broth served with noodles.

"Song Joong Ki, Naengmyeon is still my favorite Korean food. And for Kim Tae Ri, my fingers hurt so much! You must know what I mean, right? I hope the film receives a positive response. I will watch the film from London on February 5th, which will be available on Netflix. Stay safe, I miss you all and hope to meet you again soon," he said.

3. Unforgettable Experience

When asked about Richard, Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri both agreed that their meeting was an unforgettable experience.

Song Joong Ki said, "Richard really likes Naengmyeon, especially with vinegar. I suggested that he add vinegar to his noodles, and it turns out he liked it and kept talking about this food. We ate together, and I think it was a memorable moment for him."

Then, Kim Tae Ri added, "Regarding Richard's injured finger, there was a scene where I had to bite or hurt Richard's finger. I apologized many times, and he said it was okay. So, it was an unforgettable experience."
