After the bullying case among AOA members came to light, Jimin posted an apology on her personal Instagram account. It was also reported that this idol, born on January 8, 1991, has left the AOA group.

This bullying case certainly has a big impact on the image of Shin Jimin. It was previously reported that Jimin lost many subscribers on his personal YouTube channel, Boss Baby Jiminem.

After a while without any news of Jimin's activities related to the entertainment world, it was recently discovered that all the videos uploaded on his YouTube channel have been deleted. These videos seem to have just been deleted because previously there were no changes on Jimin's YouTube channel even when Mina exposed the bullying case.

2. Officially Departing from the Entertainment World

On Sunday (9/8/2020), FNC Entertainment announced an official statement that includes an apology to Mina. The agency also revealed that Shin Jimin will not return to the entertainment world and will live as an ordinary person.

"Recently, Kwon Mina asked our agency's staff about Shin Jimin's future promotion plans, but we did not respond because Shin Jimin personally informed the agency that he does not plan to be active in the entertainment industry and wants to live as a non-celebrity," FNC Entertainment said, as quoted from Allkpop.
