Bong Ye-bun (Han Ji-min) is a veterinarian in the peaceful and crime-free Mujin area. On the other hand, she is also a clairvoyant. When she touches animals or humans, Ye-bun can see their past. With that power, Ye-bun is also known for being nosy and often meddling in other people's affairs.
That's what eventually leads her to meet Moon Jang-yeol (Lee Min Ki). Moon Jang Yeol is a great detective who used to be a top performer in the violent crime investigation team in Seoul. However, something causes him to be demoted and reassigned to the Mujin local police office.
Jang Yeol struggles to return to the police department in Seoul. So, Jang Yeol works together with Bong Ye-bun and uses her spiritual power to regain his former position. Initially, they work together on simple cases in Mujin, but suddenly a serial murder case occurs.
In the midst of it all, Jang Yeol also encounters a new person, Kim Sun-woo (Suho EXO), who works part-time at one of the supermarkets in Mujin. He appears sincere and gentle. Not only that, Kim Sun-woo also treats others very well. However, he has something hidden from others.

Behind Your Touch is the latest work from writer Lee Nam-kyu, who is skilled in playing with the mystery-comedy genre, some of which include the film series Detective K, Secret of Virtuous Widow, Secret of the Lost Island, and Secret of the Living Dead.
In addition, Behind Your Touch is a reunion of writer Lee with Lee Min Ki after Secret of the Living Dead, and with Han Ji-min after Secret of Virtuous Widow. This drama is also the latest collaboration between writer Lee and director Kim Suk-yoon, following the Detective K series, The Light in Your Eyes, Listen to Love, Awl, Living Among the Rich, and Old Miss Diary.
On the other hand, Behind Your Touch is Suho's latest drama in the past five years after starring in Rich Man in 2018. Behind Your Touch will replace the drama King the Land which ended on August 6th. This drama is scheduled to air on Netflix every Saturday and Sunday starting from August 12th.
