Report Account Owner Who Bullied Her to the Police, Sunny Dahye Will Return to Indonesia?

However, the arrival of the Korean YouTuber and influencer cannot be confirmed yet. This is because we are currently in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, which affects flight requirements, especially from abroad.

"It is still scheduled. If possible, she will attend, if not possible, then later, because there are quarantine processes and other things," said Philipus Sitepu, Sunny Dahye's legal representative when met at the North Jakarta Metro Police on Friday (20/8).

Philipus Sitepu also stated that the South Korean YouTuber is open to a peaceful resolution with the person who bullied her. Sunny will gladly accept an apology and clear her name.

"Yes, she is very open if, for example, the person behind this account admits and apologizes," he said.

1. Defamation Case

Furthermore, when asked if Sunny Dahye would withdraw her police report if the perpetrator apologized, she stated that it would be left to the police. The legal process is likely to continue.

"If it depends on law enforcement, Sunny is forgiving," she said.

Sunny Dahye officially reported the anonymous Instagram account for defamation and cyberbullying to the North Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Friday (20/8/2021).

There are at least 12 anonymous Instagram accounts and 3 Twitter accounts involved. Sunny Dahye's report has been received by the North Jakarta Metropolitan Police with police report number LP: LP/B/515/VIII/2021/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKUT/POLDA METRO JAYA.

2. Disparaging Indonesian People

Previously, Sunny Dahye's name suddenly became a trending topic on Twitter for several days due to accusations of disparaging Indonesian people. In her tweet, Sunny was accused of calling Indonesians stupid and poor, and revealing other unknown aspects of Sunny to her fans.

The accusations against the South Korean YouTuber who is popular in Indonesia began with a direct message from a netizen uploaded on the Instagram account @sunnyisaliar2, allegedly from someone close to Sunny in Korea.
