Returning to the Screen After 4 Years, Kim Bum Confirmed to Join the Drama 'THE TALE OF GUMIHO'

Kapanlagi.com - Kim Bum has been confirmed to participate in the upcoming tvN drama titled THE TALE OF GUMIHO alongside Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah. This news was announced by tvN on April 10th.

THE TALE OF GUMIHO will be Kim Bum's first drama after completing his military service last month. It will also mark his comeback to the screen after four years since his appearance in MRS. COP 2 in 2016.

1. Portraying Gumiho

Drama THE TALE OF GUMIHO tells the story of a Gumiho who lives in the city and a brave PD determined to hunt down the nine-tailed fox. Kim Bum will play the character Yi Rang, the most dangerous Gumiho ever.

Gumiho Yi Rang is a distant relative of the character played by Lee Dong Wook, Yi Yeon. Yi Rang considers humans as lowly creatures even though he lives in the city and among humans.

2. Showcasing a New Charm

The producer of THE TALE OF GUMIHO said that Kim Bum will show a lot of changes after a long hiatus through this drama. He also feels that Kim Bum is very suitable to portray the nine-tailed fox.

"Kim Bum, who returns to the screen after four years, will showcase a surprising transformation through his acting in THE TALE OF GUMIHO. This is because Kim Bum has a gentle yet strong charm. Look forward to Kim Bum's charm when he portrays the character Yi Rang, the Gumiho," said the producer as reported by Kstarlive.

THE TALE OF GUMIHO is scheduled to air in the second half of 2020.
