A List of Cha Tae Hyun's Films in the 2000s, From Comedy to Melodrama That Make You Fail to Move On
Let's take a nostalgic look back at a series of Cha Tae Hyun's films from the 2000s that are still fun to rewatch today!
Kapanlagi.com - Another Korean drama that is too good to miss. Buried Hearts, which started airing on Friday (21/2/2025) and can be watched on Disney+ Hotstar. This drama also features the outstanding acting of Park Hyung Sik alongside a lineup of senior stars such as Heo Jun Ho, Woo Hyeon, Kim Jung Nan, Lee Hae Young; as well as the debut performance of talented young actress Hong Hwa Yeon.
Park Hyung Sik plays the character Seo Dong Joo, the trusted director of the chairman of Daesan Group, Cha Gang Cheon (Woo Hyeon). Dong Joo is smart and agile, earning him the extraordinary trust of the chairman. He utilizes that intelligence and trust to achieve his ambitions. Dong Joo is also a man who idolizes the woman he loves, Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon).
While Dong Joo is happily in a relationship with Eun Nam, a fact shakes his life. Fortunately, he quickly rebounds and starts his actions to achieve his ambitions and engage in a money game. However, the opponents he faces are not easy; there is Yeom Jang Sun (Heo Jun Ho), a law professor who exploits his power and knows how dangerous Seo Dong Joo is; and Heo Il Do (Lee Hae Young), who is also the son-in-law of Chairman Cha!
As mentioned earlier, the acting of all the stars is outstanding. We can see the emotions felt by Seo Dong Joo when he cries or is surprised. In addition, Hong Hwa Yeon's performance will be a highlight because she is not only beautiful but also her acting is really great.
The chemistry between Park Hyung Sik and Hong Hwa Yeon is also really good, making the audience feel the pure love between them. By the way, just a little reminder, don't watch with family if you don't want it to be awkward when the intimate scenes of Park Hyung Sik and Hong Hwa Yeon appear on screen.
At the beginning of the first episode, you need to watch with focus because there are scenes that involve legal and business issues. Additionally, we are introduced to important characters so that there is no confusion.
It may feel heavy at the beginning, but by the middle to the end of the first episode, it will really make you unable to stop watching. The story is full of plot twists and surprises that make us feel like we can't let our guard down.
Oh, and it's important to note that there are several flashbacks and imaginations from the characters, so don't get confused while watching!
For those who love dramas with plots full of twists but still have some romance, Buried Hearts could be the choice. Especially for Park Hyung Sik fans, you absolutely have to watch it and you'll definitely feel even prouder. One more thing, be careful not to fall in love with Hong Hwa Yeon's charm in this drama!
Don't forget to watch Buried Hearts on Disney+ Hotstar, if not now, then when?
