Yein began her career in the entertainment world as a clothing model while still in junior high school.

She used to be a trainee at JYP Entertainment. In 2014, she met the members of her group at Woolim Entertainment until last November.

Being the youngest member of the LOVELYZ group, Yein has tried various careers ranging from being an MC to an actress.
