Pantai Bahagia Village has long been a frequent victim of flooding from sea water overflow, almost submerging the residents' houses. The coastline erosion in this location is quite severe, reaching 10-20 meters per year. As a result, many residents here have lost their homes and sources of income to continue their lives. Most of the Pantai Bahagia Village and its surrounding areas are not protected by trees, making it prone to frequent flooding. The presence of mangrove trees along the coastal area is very important as it can help absorb water, withstand waves, and prevent further erosion," explained Aerina Union.
