Sandara Park and Minkyung HINAPIA's Emotional Struggles After the Disbandment of 2NE1 and PRISTIN

The legendary Korean girl group 2NE1, which debuted in 2009, had to disband in 2016 because the four members could no longer pursue their careers together. In the same year as the disbandment of 2NE1, PRISTIN under PLEDIS Entertainment debuted. However, this girl group who sang the song Wee Woo had to face the same fate as 2NE1 in 2019, three years after their debut.

Minkyung shared that she felt like she lost everything after her childhood struggle to become someone who is liked by many people ended. The idol, who had the stage name Roa when she was still with PRISTIN, used to sleep more often to forget her sadness, but then she realized that it was not a good habit and started to change.

Sandara Park also experienced the same thing. She felt that the period after the disbandment of 2NE1 was the toughest time in her life. Thunder's sister felt like she was not an important part of 2NE1, and this thought made her very pessimistic and lose confidence for 2 to 3 years.

It seems that the dark times for these two beautiful women have already ended. Minkyung is currently a member of the girl group HINAPIA along with some of her former PRISTIN colleagues, and they debuted in November with a single album called NEW START. The title track, DRIP, is a charismatic electronic song that showcases HINAPIA's talent and confidence.

Meanwhile, Sandara Park is currently more active as a solo singer, actress, and host. Born in 1984, she has also collaborated several times with fellow former 2NE1 member Park Bom. Spring and First Snow are songs sung by Double Park.
